About Us
Cape Town's premier pole fitness studio
Established in 2010, Pole Dance Cape Town was transferred in 2017 to Chantal Cornelissen — an accomplished aerial artist, world champion competitor in pole and hoop disciplines, and former Cirque du Soleil performer. After ten years in the city bowl, the studio relocated to Edgemead in 2020.
We train people of all ages, shapes and fitness levels. The studio is fitted with 11 X-Poles (3.6m tall, 45mm diameter, in brass, stainless steel, powder-coated and chrome finishes) and multiple aerial rigging points for lyra and aerial silks.
Pole and aerial fitness builds strength, flexibility and coordination while targeting your core, arms, shoulders and back — and our athletes have represented South Africa at World Championships, with medal placements across pole and aerial art disciplines.
